The newest residential gem set to punctuate the Downtown Miami skyline is now well underway. Developer Ugo Colombo’s spectacular new 64-story tower, Brickell Flatiron, has officially gone vertical, reaching its 12th floor this month. The luxury skyscraper will be completed in 2019 and has already sold an impressive 60% of its 549 residences. Once it has achieved its summit at 700 feet, Brickell Flatiron will be one of the tallest residential buildings in the country. Thus, the soaring glass structure will feature breathtaking views of the ocean and skyline that stretch for miles.
The top 14 floors will house a series of astonishing penthouses, ranging from large single-floor offerings to massive two-story duplexes and three-story triplexes. Dubbed the “Penthouse Collection,” these Miami Beach condos are as modern and elegant as they come. Kitchens are equipped with Miele under-the-counter wine coolers and appliances, Snaidero motorized cabinetry, and noise- and vibration-suppressing Bosch washers and dryers. In addition, each penthouse contains its own private wireless network with a secure smart-lock system.
Brickell Flatiron was designed by Miami architectural master Luis Revuelta, while the common spaces and amenities were crafted by acclaimed Italian design architect Massimo Iosa Ghini. The sprawling interiors, specifically the array of shared and amenity spaces, directly reflect the undulating curves of the facade, resulting in a remarkable feeling of cohesion throughout the building.
The wealth of amenities truly takes Brickell Flatiron to another level, thanks to Iosa Ghini’s vision. They include a climate-controlled wine cellar, a billiard room, a cigar room, a children’s pool and playroom, a state-of-the-art projection movie theater, a personal concierge, and a digital concierge app. As we ascend the building, the amenities grow even more unique: a sky spa provides treatment rooms for facials and other skin and hair services and a hydrotherapy circuit with steam as well as a sauna. There’s also a 6,300-square-foot sky gym that overlooks the Miami skyline and has a spin room, yoga and Pilates studios, and an on-site nutrition consultant and trainer. The sky pool offers 360-degree views, day beds, and a juice bar, and the rooftop garden is designed for some unfettered relaxation.
When discussing the meticulous approach to Brickell Flatiron, Ugo Colombo has said, “We are sparing no detail and no expense to deliver a memorable product offering our residents the highest caliber of quality and design that will withstand the test of time.” By all accounts, his words will ring true. The luxury, elegance, and refinement in the design of Brickell Flatiron are beginning to become a reality. Upon completion, the shimmering tower will establish a new pinnacle of Miami luxury real estate.
